Kristin Pederson

Seattle, Washington USA

Level 0 Crew Rank Qualified Sailing Instructor / Assessor

I grew up sailing in the Seattle area, spending my summers in the San Juan and Gulf Islands. I've done several passages along the WA/OR coast, in the Caribbean and one along the Portuguese coast. I've raced for 5+ years, including Swiftsure and the Van Isle 360. Recent adventures include double-handing a Santana 20 from Port Townsend, WA to Ketchikan, AK in the Race to Alaska, and the Pacific Cup from SF to Hawaii on a Swan 44. My day job is working at The Center for Wooden Boats, a living museum on Lake Union where we teach people to sail on 70 year old wooden boats.
