I've been sailing since I was 5 years old when I would race dinghies at our local club. As soon as I was able, I moved up to J22 keelboats and won several regattas. As an adult, I have sailed across the Atlantic twice and once across the Pacific from Panama to New Zealand as the Skipper of the 60 ft sailboat. On that adventure, we dodged several storms and sailed for 3 days and nights through a 60 knotter. My early career was as a high school teacher. Now, combining my knowledge of sailing with teaching is my absolute passion. When you train with me I will give you my 25 years of boating and teaching experience. If you're looking to be a competent sailor, I will get you there. But, we have some work to do.
