I'm a Professional Sailing Instructor, and I'm pretty happy about that! So many people I know work at things they Don’t like, so they can get out and do what they Do like. Getting passion and profession together took me a long time, but I have the right mix now. I'm an educator first, and a sailor second. I’ve been fortunate to have great mentors, and to have built on that foundation and break new ground. I enjoy sharing the things I know and love with others, and if you want to improve your competence and confidence in the world of sailing and cruising, we're going to have a great time!

Marc's instruction was the best I've experienced. He reviewed the written exam, explaining, in great detail, all improperly answered questions. The on-the-water exam was clearly explained, well paced, and complete in every detail. When complete, I felt I was a more competent skipper for the experience, and I had much more confidence in my ability to skipper a sailing vessel. Marc is a fantastic instructor.

Marc is an excellent instructor. He was able to completely explain each of the required maneuvers, before they were attempted. While the maneuver was tried, he competently coached me through the difficult parts. Afterward, he knowledgeably pointed out the problems and how to improve my performance, on the next attempt. I would heartily endorse Marc as an instructor to be sought out for top-notch training.
